Site / plan review
Drawings, glazing schedules, elevations, the specification section — or photographs and a description if the building has no documents. We read what you send and come back with questions about the glass.

Glass identification
Field verification of construction, coatings, strengthening, unit makeup, frame condition and any existing film. This is the step that decides what can safely be specified.

Film / system selection
Product chosen against the glass, the exposure, the appearance constraint and the requirement. Where security scope is involved, the attachment method is selected here too.

Sample or mock-up
Physical samples for product data and design review, and on larger or appearance-sensitive projects a mock-up on the actual glass before the full installation.

Budget / proposal
Line-item scope by elevation or partition type, with quantities, assumptions, access method and manufacturer product data attached.

Installation coordination
Sequencing around occupancy, trades, clinic hours, school breaks or trading hours — including night and weekend work, access, COIs and freight.

Interior application by our own crews, area by area, with the space protected and returned to service each shift.

- What is commercial window tinting?
- Commercial window tinting is the application of architectural window film to the glass of an existing building to control solar heat, glare, ultraviolet light, privacy or glass breakage. Unlike automotive tinting, it is specified against the building's glass type, orientation and occupancy, and it is usually installed on the interior surface of glass that stays in place.
- How much does it cost to tint commercial windows?
- Cost is driven by the film family, the total glass area, the number of separate openings, how the glass is reached, whether perimeter attachment is included and whether work runs after hours. We issue a range tied to a named product and a stated quantity rather than a square-foot rate with no assumptions behind it.
- Can employees stay in the building during installation?
- Usually yes. Interior film work is a wet process in a limited zone: we isolate the glass line, protect finishes and floors, and move bay by bay. Occupied floors are typically staged so a work area is cleared and returned the same day. Where that is not workable, the scope moves to evenings or weekends.
- Can it be installed after hours?
- Yes. Night and weekend installation is common for trading floors, clinical space, retail and any lobby that cannot lose access. It affects the labour rate, which is why the schedule belongs in the bid documents rather than being resolved later.
