Can employees stay inside during installation?
Yes, in almost all cases. Film is installed from the interior with low-odour materials, and staff normally remain in the building. What is required is a clear working zone at the glass line — desks pulled back a few feet — for a few hours at a time, area by area.
The practical constraint is furniture and access, not fumes. Installers need to reach the full lite, work with a wet solution at the glass, and protect the floor and any equipment near the window.
Where a floor is dense, where the tenant runs sensitive operations, or where clearing desks is more disruptive than the work itself, evening and weekend installation is the better answer and is routine.
Immediately after installation the film may look slightly hazy or show small moisture points. That is normal cure behavior and clears over the following days.
