How long does commercial window film installation take?
Duration is driven by the number of openings and access rather than by total square footage. A single office floor is typically a matter of days; a phased multi-building program runs across scheduled breaks. Security work with wet-glaze attachment adds cure time to the sequence.
A hundred small lites take considerably longer than the same area in ten large ones, because each opening carries its own preparation, cutting, cleaning and edge detailing.
Access changes the arithmetic more than anything else. Occupied floors with furniture at the glass, restricted freight windows or lift requirements can double the hours for identical glass.
For attachment work, cure time is part of the schedule, not an afterthought — the sequence has to allow it before the space is fully returned to use.
